Half of the day I’ve spent making the logo for this log.

Learning some basic Blender skills was a fun experience, and I am fond of the resulting image.

The polygon on the image is rhombic dodecahedron, which has a lot of interesting properties such as:

• it is a space-filling polyhedron

• it is one of nine edge-tranitive convex polyhedra

• it is face-transitive

• it looks really coll

I tried to find a polygon that somehow resembles Wolfram Mathematica’s logo, but simpler
